Internet use: tablets especially favoured among managers

The MA Net study provides information on the distribution and intensity of Internet use in Switzerland. This usage data can be cross-referenced with various socio-demographic and geographical indications.

The MA Net 2024-2 study shows that 49.2% of all people who access the Internet use a tablet to do so. This percentage has remained virtually unchanged over the last three years. Executives aged 40 to 60 in particular use tablets at an above-average rate. However, tablets are very rarely the only device used for Internet use. In fact, they almost always tend to be secondary to smartphones and desktop PCs.
