Swiss Media Research Day 2026

On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, the WEMF is hosting the Swiss Media Research Day. This well-established industry event will take place at Westhive Zurich Hardturm.
Real Data. Real Trust. Real Emotions
This year’s event will focus on independent and reliable data covering a range of topics – both rational and emotional. The media landscape is changing rapidly. AI-generated content, algorithm-driven distribution and the increasing fragmentation of communication channels are transforming how information is created, disseminated and used. This is leading to growing challenges surrounding credibility, transparency and trust.
At the event, WEMF professionals and experts from the media and advertising sectors will discuss the use of AI in the media industry and share the latest insights from Swiss market and media data. In addition, WEMF will present innovations in the audit and research sector, such as the new ‘Sports & Culture’ data product designed to optimise marketing and sponsorship decisions. The event also provides a platform for other Swiss media research institutes to share industry news and developments. The event will be moderated by Vanessa Meier of TeleZüri.
The networking lunch that follows offers an opportunity for interesting encounters with professionals from the media and advertising sectors.
The event will be held in German.

Date and Location
The Swiss Media Research Day will take place on Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at the Westhive Zurich Hardturm. The welcome coffee starts at 8.30 am and the programme runs from 9.15 am to 12.00 pm. Attendance is free of charge. Places are limited.
