How Android and iOS users differ from one another

MA Net 2024-1 identifies for the first time which operating systems are used on smartphones in Switzerland. There are clear differences in the user profiles of the various systems. The latest edition of the basic study on internet usage was published today by WEMF AG für Werbemedienforschung.

MA Net enables an analysis of the internet’s distribution and intensity of use in Switzerland. The usage data can be cross-referenced with various sociodemographic and geographic data. The 2024-1 edition is the first to indicate which operating system the respondents use on their smartphones to surf the internet. The two operating systems Android and iOS dominate with a total share of over 96%.
